Always with Me Original

Jesus fulfilled His promise. 

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth” (John 14:16-17). The Holy Spirit was poured out like fire and breath, filling every empty space with the presence of God. No longer distant, no longer veiled behind temple walls, the Spirit came to dwell within us, to comfort, guide, empower, and remind us of the Love that purchased our freedom. In our weakness, He speaks to us. In our wandering, He leads us home. In our despair, He stirs up hope. We are not orphans. We are carriers of His Spirit, adopted in the Beloved, sealed with His promise, forever marked as His.

On the day of Pentecost, “there came from Heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind,” (Acts 2:1-2) and Heaven broke into earth. The Spirit ignited hearts that would change the world. That same Spirit still breathes into us today, whispering when we are weary, strengthening when we are weak, and setting our hearts ablaze with the living flame of God's love. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ lives within us, making us vessels of His power and His peace. We are filled with the very breath of God. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us, and nothing could ever be more beautiful, or more sacred.
