Fulfillment Original

I love how during His time on earth, Jesus frequently drew strength from His relationship with the Father, teaching us how to do the same. Prayer was a source of renewal for Jesus as He prepared for ministry and faced opposition. 

One of the most poignant examples of Jesus receiving strength from God is found in the Garden of Gethsemane. In Luke 22:43, during His agony before His arrest, it says, "An angel from Heaven appeared to him and strengthened him." In His most vulnerable moment, Jesus was met with divine empowerment to endure the suffering ahead. The Lord had been bringing me back to this powerful time in the last few weeks as He teaches me about a deeper "yes," and how He equips us with everything we need to endure the tasks that He has for us.
