I Shall not Want

Psalm 23 paints a picture of the Divine Shepherd gently guiding His sheep through the vast landscapes of life. It speaks to the deep comfort that comes from knowing God's presence as a steady hand. When life feels overwhelming, with valleys of darkness and shadows of calamity, we are assured that God walks beside us, protecting, guiding, and providing peace in the midst of our troubles. God's grace is abundant, anointing our heads with oil and filling our cups with gladness until they overflow. 

This is where I find rest today, at the feet of Jesus. Today, I choose to bask in His presence and soak in the sweetness of His love. I'm allowing His peace to lull me to sleep even if I encounter a storm. In the midst of unpaid bills, behavioral issues, and restless nights, my God is my sustainer and the valley of life for these dry bones.
