The Answer is in His Shadow Original

If I'm being honest, we've had some issues with my oldest over the last year. It's glaringly obvious that even if I'd somehow managed to be the perfect mother, I have no idea how to be a father. I don't know how to teach a ten year old boy how to be a man. 

I've done a lot of soul searching this year. I've spent a lot of time in prayer asking Holy Spirit what to do, how to reach him. 

The Lord came through, as He always does. He led us to an environment of positive male role models, and we started seeing fruit. But mostly, He just pointed me back to Jesus. He gently reminded me that as long as I teach him to be like Jesus, everything else will fall into place. 

It's the molding, the shaping, the surrender, the love and refining. 

I don't have the answers for everything. But I do know the hem of whose garment to cling to to find them. 

The answer is in His shadow. As long as we abide in that Place, everything else will come together.
